Warsaw has two airports — Chopin (WAW) and Modlin (WMI). Here's how to get from each to the city centre quickly and cheaply.
Chopin Airport (WAW)
- Train (SKM/KM): around 20–25 min to the centre, the cheapest option.
- Bus 175: direct to Nowy Świat and the Old Town area.
- Taxi / Uber / Bolt: roughly 20–30 min depending on traffic.
Modlin Airport (WMI)
- Modlinbus: a direct coach to the centre, around 45–55 min.
- Train + shuttle: shuttle to Modlin station, then train to Warszawa Centralna.

If your hotel check-in is hours away, don't haul your bags around the city. Leave them at Nowy Świat 22 — right where bus 175 drops you — and start exploring straight away. Pick them up any time until 3 a.m.
