One day in Warsaw: a hands-free itinerary

Published 2026-06-104 min read

Only have one day in Warsaw? You can see the best of it — if you're not weighed down by luggage. Here's a relaxed, walkable plan from morning to night.

Morning

Drop your bags at our storage on Nowy Świat 22, then start with coffee on Nowy Świat and walk the Royal Route to the Old Town. Climb St. Anne's Church tower for the best rooftop view of the centre.

Midday

Lunch on pierogi (try the spot at our address), then wander the Old Town Market Square and the Barbican. Cross to the riverside boulevards for a break by the Vistula.

Afternoon

Pick a museum: POLIN (history of Polish Jews), the Warsaw Uprising Museum, or the Copernicus Science Centre. Prefer green space? Łazienki Park is a short tram ride away.

Evening

Have dinner around Nowy Świat or Plac Zbawiciela, then find a rooftop bar. Because we're open until 3 a.m., you can enjoy the night and grab your bags on the way out — no rush.
